Potentially the cobalt recycling could be massive. Already a lot of laws around the disposal of batteries and lithium batteries will not be an exception.
Cobalt it seems will be like the platinum that was recovered from exhaust systems. NMT needs to make sure they protect their investment and become a global operator.
If EV's go the way it should then every country will need a sheet-load of battery recycling plants.
Was the estimated $26M just for the one plant? If so... imagine a few dozen around the globe. At the least I'd guess NMT would get royalties for using their recycling technology.
And... unlike mining where you have to find the ore, the batteries get dropped off at the owners expense.
