Yes, post 24524118 hits "the nail on the head". We see so many of our politicians and others who should be setting examples of how to work hard and plan for the future - for our children's children, and yet are only interested in keeping their electorate happy and winning the next election, and to hell with any time-line beyond that.

Reminds me of The morality play - medieval entertainment where a protagonist comes across characters representing various moral attributes who encourage him to choose a life of morality over one of evil.

Your comment about "agricultural flavour" is interesting. I reckon being raised on a farm surrounded by sheep, cattle, Jersey milking cows, rabbits etc has given me a certain respect for hard, real work and lack of tolerance for those who "play games".

Hence my sympathy and understanding of the comments made by mr dasher from his farm post #24517842. Farming is a tough and honest life and he must be startled by the shenanigans of the shorters and their rabble.
