CXO's annoucement yesterday gave the Grant's prospect a $100m value and stated: "As a result of these strong project factors, Core is now advancing its discussions with potential spodumene DSO and concentrate offtake partners to support an early development at the Finniss Project"
What does this mean for KSN? We're drilling next door to Grant's, there are prospective buyers and partners already interested in the finniss project and any half decent drilling result by KSN is going to inflate the appeal of the Grants prospect. Additionally it shows that CXO has high expectations of the Finniss Project and views the Grant Project as one of it's weakest potential deposits. Who has the two largest tenants in the area? KSN and CXO.
This area might very well turn out to be an incredible lithium despoit that we are starting to see KSN and CXO uncover and define.
If these results are good I can either see a larger playing absorbing both KSN and CXO to exploit the Bynoe Pegmatite Field/Finniss project or both these entities entering early stage production and becoming mid cap stocks.
Based on current cash & EV, hopefully good drilling results based on CXO's current EV will bring us to a closing S/P of 0.036. Having said that, based on our tenant size, once can only dream we'll be going far north of that.
