Miles, perhaps you need to swap your happy pills for some smart pills. See if you can get a good supply of the extra large size.
The trouble with Andrew Bolt, from the Left's perspective, is that he always seems to remove the complexities from a subject behind which fuzzy thinking "intellectuals" love to hide.
You don't have to be any smarter than the average "person in the street" (or Miles on smart pills) to come up with similar conclusions to Bolt given his data. I haven't checked but if half of it is on the level it would still justify the conclusion that AQ is in the process getting the sh*t bashed out of it,not only in Iraq but right around the world.
At the personal level the death of one soldier is a tragedy but we employ soldiers to fight and sometimes die for us and in military terms very few US soldiers are being killed in Iraq. In Melbourne,at present, we seem to be getting a higher rate of our better class of criminals bumped off and as far as I know no foreign power is occupying Victoria.
Twenty two attacks in twenty four hours eh?. In a country of twenty three million? Have you ever thought how few persons would be reqired to carry out that number of attacks? Now if you said a thousand a day one might begin to think the Yanks were in a bit of trouble.
I think a bigger worry for the US is the financial cost. Has anyone worked out how the $4 billion per month is worked out? The US soldiers most be on pretty good wages. Wonder how much it would cost/month to keep the same mob back at home?
Looks like the Yanks miscalculated on their cut of all that lovely oil. That should keep you happy Miles.
