Can someone explain the difference between a Minerals Resource Rent Tax and a tax on Banks profits?
How is one acceptable to idiot Australia yet another one isn't given they're both a tax on a selected hand picked Industry and not across the board.
I'd suggest the difference is one Industry convinced Idiot Australia, with the help of a party that benefitted
directly through donations, that taxing it was bad.
The other is roundly despised & open to political expediency.
And that's alive & well in Idiot Australia.
