I'm surprised that Infigen doesn't have a greater profile given that it's the largest renewable energy generator in Australia in times when we see energy policy and pricing discussion on the news on a daily basis these days. However, I don't think that will be the case for much longer.
After the issuance of new shares we now have 950,259,556 shares on issue. At current pricing this translates to a market cap of around $900m. I hope that with upcoming good news (113MW Bodangora wind farm development commencement, inefficient debt refinancing with cheaper debt) we'll see share price appreciation taking market cap above $1bn.
This fact coupled with new projects, ever increasing discussion about clean technology and energy pricing, and the development of energy storage solutions will put greater focus on Infigen.
