Any insurance covers or legal advice should be looked into, to attempt and recoup some of the damage done.
In the words of Admiral Ackbar, "it's a trap". TGS don't have the money and don't need the managerial distraction right now. They have years to follow up and pursue recourse (if any is available to them). What they need right now is total focus on sorting out the plant.
Restructure the mine so it falls within guidance parameters.
Any restructuring should be in Australia. That's where the incompetence lies. I wouldn't touch the mine. The last thing they need is an accident and lose their social license to operate.
