As I mentioned the other day, Inco were very very keen to use the APG technology however they did not have the time to wait for development.
In relation to that Inco project I am pretty sure APG will have no part (due to Inco timeframe)HOWEVER there are plenty of other companies that are interested.
The application of the APG technologies span across many industries, not just mineral sands and the steel industry. This is partly attributable to the unique design and operations and perfomance of the patented APG seperation plants and fluid bed roasters.
Other areas include the sulphate market in China to which APG have had discussions with companies and the titanium metal industry which again APG have had discussions with.
So once this plant is up we will see movements from many fronts as APG can show all these different industries how the technologies will be beneficial as well as BHP
I rang the company the Friday and they have been bombarded with offers of $$$$ from all sources including a number of institutions.
Once we get more news on One Steel next month, I think that these insto's will be keen for some APG stock.
I am only assuming but it is logical that APG will have to give a presentation to the insto's before they hop into APG.
It is hard to beleive that a company that was nearly out the back door 12 months ago has so many opportunities and blue sky infront of it.
The company is talking about massive gold deosits it is in the process of aquiring via its Chinese contacts however insists that given the large competition for deposits in China and the large majors trying to aquire them it is prudent for APG to keep quiet until they are 100% secured. They are very confident and excited....ring them and ask about them!
So, my expectations from here are......
News is a couple of weeks of BHP contracts signed.
News in June re One Steel
News in July re Gold
Quarterly report in July reporting of progress of plant construction and Gold.
But, I also would not be supprised if something out of left field raised its head.
A huge number of shares have changed hands which now gives a far higher cost base for many people. I think those who have sold some or all of their stock will wait until the SP becomes stable before they choose to re enter.
Cheers
