Call me silly, but can't you call him back once you've had a day or two to collect your thoughts and the forum's thoughts and questions? Or was the number blocked? As someone else suggested, email might work but I believe it is also in your interest to speak on the phone. Maybe email and ask him to call you back? People tend to be more candid and you can usually attain a bit more info from them on the phone or in person rather than email, so to me phone is the way to go.
