I think you forgot what a punt is. It's a gamble. My original long term parcel has already lost 80% in value. No point in realising the loss so soon when this whole thing has been very entertaining to say the least. What's a little bit more money thrown in to average down and possibly recoup back some money if by dumb luck suddenly it springs back to life with some unexpected news? I punt often anyway, but from what I can see, why not punt in what was an investment that has turned out into a speculative buy? Recall after the Glaucus hit, it went down to 99 cents and then back up to $1.20 plus. If you had bought at circa $1 and closed out around the $1.20 mark, that was a pretty good punt...wasn't it? As with share trading/investing, always be prepared to lose it all if you get it wrong is what I am getting at.
