At that stage the most used value in EMH materials was lithium carbonate production cost net of potash estimated at 1500 USD per ton. Annual revenue 233 million producing 19,400 tons of Li carbonate.
233 000 000 / 19,400 = 12,000 USD per ton revenue
So the total revenue per ton was estimated at 12000, from which Lithium carbonate made about half (5400), potash revenue about quarter and same for ti (3000) plus some small bit for Tungsten.
So if I add 3000 of potash credit to 1500, the total L-Max operating cost at that time was estimated about 4500 USD per ton. And that is the last EMH official numbers on L-Max we have seen so far. So no, I do not think 15,000 is anywhere close to real EMH L-Max cost unless EMH was year and half ago wrong by 233%.
