It would of been far better for PDN to have a deal bedded down before resuming trading. That said, the announcemnt is very positive. They basically have contingency scenarios on the table to which their stakeholders are supporting. I would suggest that the likelihood of PDN now surviving over the next few years is very high to certain. The fact that they have been able to cut some deals is great.
How will it trade? Who knows. I suspect that there will be heavy selling over the coming days as disenchanted shareholders exit, however given that the likelihood of PDN surviving is almost a given and it share price at the moment is reflective of a long dated call option, it would not surprise me at all to see the stock rally hard over the coming weeks or months. I suspect a share price in the 20's, 30's or even 40's is very possible. It fell hard in 2016 on the back of debt concerns and declining U price. The U price appears to have bottomed and is rising and its debt concerns receding. Still long way to go.
