well unfortunately you can grow the trees as professionally as you want, but unless there's an end market for the timber at the prices QIN was spruiking, then it's all make work.
This was a key feature of the bear thesis - Glaucus didn't have to get everything right, any one of the problems they raised (pricing, market size, yield rates, fake customers) was enough to make QIN worth zero.
