For anyone interested in the baseline groundwater studies carried out by the SA Gov. - I posted this yesterday but HC shut me for alleged baiting/flaming. Either way:

As far as baseline groundwater studies go - if you're interested Google: Australian Government Initiative on Coal Seam Gas and Large Coal Mining:
Arckaringa Basin and Pedirka Basin Groundwater Assessment Projects (2013, DEWNR)
A Hydrogeological characterisation of the Arckaringa Basin (2015, DEWNR)
Arckaringa Basin Numerical Groundwater Model 2014 (2015, DEWNR)
Arckarigna Basin aquifer connectivity (2015, DEWNR)

All of these reports have been commissioned by the State Government to assess the basin(s) in terms of Coal mining and CSG. Interesting to note that in the LCEP part of the Arckaringa Basin groundwater yields and transmissivities / conductivities are near negligible, and salinity is considered 'ultra saline'.

Throw that against drawdown of groundwater level adjacent 70 year old coal mine and approvals for PCD facility is a formality (IMO).
