    May 18 (Reuters) - Newcrest Mining Ltd (NCM)

    • For Cadia, Newcrest is undertaking community consultation to increase processing and ore production permitted capacity to 35 million tonnes per annum
    • Permit modification process and feasibility study is designed to enable start of construction in 2018 calendar year if approved
    • Expanded plant has potential to provide additional permanent employment for up to 100 people
