It will be interesting to see if it is in the green or red today. I have a feeling it may be red. This feels a lot like $3.40 before the profit downgrade. At that time there were takeover rumours, the price gained 5% momentum for a day. Three days later…. BAM a profit downgrade was released. It almost felt like a setup. Lure investors into the potential of a takeover and allow shorters to sell into the buyers. Also during that time gross shorts were increasing. Interestingly they are also increasing at the moment with total gross shorts around 16% (thats approx. 100m shares shorts). De Ja Vu anyone? Could be a signal that bad news is coming. Maybe ASC or Covenant related. This is cautious times imo.
