I created this chart to give myself some long-term perspective about Vitagroup. It compares free cash flow, earnings and dividend per share against share price. These are scaled so that share price is 10x earnings, etc.
The share price, at any time, really is the consensus view of the future. The information we have from which to judge the future has come very sparingly. That said, it seems that over the last six months many have considered the sparseness of actual information as information itself. Maybe there's a lesson here.
Will the consensus view of the future improve, or should I get out while I can keep some small fraction of my initial investment? I don't know. But enjoy the pretty graph.
