Really great points and cause for my optimism and buying despite the fall in the market. Agree that the quality of life better in the HCC trial. Slightly nervous as others have pointed out that non inferiority is not out of the woods yet as the data is to be combined
Great that right sided colon cancer is statistically significant: and potential to elevate to first line status. As many have stated these trials are really about increasing our market rather than affecting current sales
Finally the intention to treat will be a big factor in both the Metastatic disease and primary HCC trials. In fact , the sirtex announcement on the HCC trials suggest that mortality affected by the high percentage not getting SIRT despite being randomised to that treatment.
Unfortunately I heard that FDA still looks at intention to treat rather than protocol based results which is perplexing. Anyone grow light on this?
