To those reminiscing how good they had it back in the day . I think your memory might be playing tricks on you ?
Can't remember how hard it was to borrow money ? Can't remember how physically hard you had to work ? How few choices you had in everything from food to travel and everything in between ?
Remember not having carpet for 10 years ? One little crappy tv to watch 2 channels on . No central heat or a/c ? No restaurants or cafes to eat at ?
As to those complaining how hard it is these days . Live with Mum until you're 35 with all the priviledges . Overseas holidays as a kid . TV's , phones , the internet , all the food you can eat , cheap fashionable clothes , movies , multiple career choices , borrow money for plastic surgery , pet surgery , holidays etc ?
And you live in one of the hands down , greatest countries in the world .
