Soooo, still no company sanctioned forecasts. One of the biggest bugbears I've always had with XPE is that they never disclose the amount they are going to get per device.
They gave a ballpark figure for volume of SALES for the device, but have not given any forecasts or mock-ups of how many active downloads of the app they expect, or exactly how much money they expect to get from each active download.
They have always covered themselves here by stating "the rate is negotiated FROM the standard rate" which means we could literally be getting 0.0001c or as much as 15c per active app. I very much doubt it's the full 15c.
It'll get found out when the quarters pass and revenue is expected but i'd be extremely cautious, the lack of disclosure isn't flattering.
Adding to this - the trend of 3B conversions just before an announcement continues. Quite sickening, really.
