mmm - on the news - but it seems that iran just had elections - and had to keep the polling booths open for a few extra hours to cope with the demand for votes. in turkeym where there must be a bit of an iranian community - people were waiting for 5 hours to cast a vote.
ok - so the politicians in iran had to be vetted by the supreme leader - in the context of things - not too bad an idea.
