What would your advice to President Trump be at this moment in time? Turn the M.E. to glass?
I'm sure that you would agree with me that the world would be far, far better off had the Middle East not been sitting on the world's oil. But they are.
They control the oil and therefore have great sway. If President Trump is given leeway to allow the US to develop energy/oil self-sufficiency then the Saudis lose leverage and a lot of money. Good.
The long term interests of Saudi Arabia and the US people are not aligned. I happen to think that President Trump knows this and will act accordingly in time.
