T Do you agree with this scenario. About 45 mil had already been shorted over a 3 year period. Then in March as we saw, another 5 mil were borrowed but not sold until 10-12 May.
Are these figures Correct. First 45 mil already short sold then the bad news then the 5 mil borrowed shares sold between 10 to 12 May. To get the cattle stampeded. That meant 50 mil short sold, But someone then redeemed 16 mil @ say 60c in those 3 days. Leaving 34 mil shorts still outstanding?
Am I right in saying we can't get a repetition of what happened on 10 to the 12th, unless the shorters can get their hands on more borrowed shares?
