Windimurra Uranium Prospect

HIGHLIGHTS
• Aircore drilling has commenced at the Windimurra Uranium Prospect.
• Drilling will infill historic results of up to 2.1 metres from surface at 0.43 kg/t eU3O8

Maximus has commenced a program of aircore drilling
on the Windimurra palaeochannel which contains
calcrete hosted uranium mineralisation previously
located by wide-spaced WMC Resources drill traverses
in the early 1970s (Figure 1). Calibrated radiometric
probe results at that time indicated individual intervals
up to 0.9 kilogram equivalent U3O8 per tonne and a
best result of 2.1 metres from surface of 0.43 kilogram
eU3O8 per tonne in hole MWMRC270.

The radiometrically anomalous area of plus 0.1 kilogram
eU3O8 per tonne measures 8 kilometres by 500
metres and will be initially infilled on a 320 x 160 metre
pattern of shallow aircore holes. An initial phase of
about 160 holes for approximately 1600 metres will be
radiometrically logged to determine the extent of more
anomalous areas

Progressive infill drilling and geochemical sampling
of the more anomalous areas will follow. Results from
these programs is expected to provide sufficient data to
allow Maximus to commission an independent estimate
of an inferred mineral resource for this near surface
uranium occurrence during the September Quarter.
