Amazing what has been posted today....my 2 cents:

"It provided confirmation that there is a niche in the marketplace, that there is no identical competing product, and the high throughput, consistency and reproducibility of the instrument clearly introduces efficiencies into the laboratory workflow".  In business terms, LBT has identified a gap (niche) in the market and are attempting to fill it.  How small is niche?  Well you're not going to find one of these in your local Bunnings.....what else are they going to call it?  Furthermore, modern operations management is wholly concerned with effectiveness and efficiency, hence quality, consistency, accuracy, and high throughput.  Too many have selectively read the announcement without looking at the bigger picture.

SPP at 26c?  And people were complaining about the price sophs had to pay (can't have it both ways).  And blow me down.....participation is VOLUNTARY.

Share price will mean an approx. 11.5million share issue if fully subscribed, putting the current shares available at approx. 151 million.  That's still a small register.

"Those Directors who qualify as Eligible Shareholders, have indicated an intention to participate to the maximum extent allowable under the SPP".   Couple this with no Director selling since Popper, Costello and Finder in October of last year.  What would that suggest?  Confidence?  Or no confidence? Participation by Directors equates to another 57,000+ shares each.
