Why are people voting against CTP?, page-56

I've been keeping a tab of all the pledged No votes on HotCopper and the number is closer to 10 million, not 50 million.

With OptionCo's votes the total is in excess of 30 million, around 30% of the required No vote, assuming everybody votes (which they won't).

In addition we know that the "overwhelming majority" of the CPSA's members are opposed to the scheme according to Robin Judd.

Obviously we have no way to verify the HotCopper numbers but there is definitely a strong No-vote vibe both on HC and CPSA. Whether it will be enough to carry the day remains to be seen, but CTP does have a very fragmented register with the instos holding a remarkably small volume so we're at least in with a shot IMO.
