I'm sure forged and skol got rich off property. And I am sure that those halcyon days are over, at least for now.

I don't know anyone who got rich off owning gold bars, and I'm damned sure more people have lost money than made it dabbling in gold stocks.

My shorts are my form of gambling and that's what it is, it's geared up 3 times, very risky, but I did make quite a bit of money off property. To suggest the property halcyon days are over is a bridge too far, the next generation of property millionaires are just getting started, finding out where the best bets are, how much risk they can stand and how much sleep they can lose as they worry about millions of dollars of debt. Who dares wins, and that's a fact.

There's always a good bet somewhere, you just have to have the tenacity to find it.
