@spid81 You are getting way too tied up with semantics and your lack of science background is showing.

If you understood the way asbestos works and why blue is worse than white, you would see the similarity of action, and why a ragged edged few layer graphene is very similar.

As others are already advising you, at the nano-scale things are different. I also never said the sky is falling and abondon FGR - I wrote that clothing applications might not be where graphene is used. Floating fibres impregnanated with graphene may well have extremely irritating surfaces. Raw graphene would obviously be much warse potential.

So, until the jury is in, FGR needs to start coming up to speed on the potential harm of basically "weaponised" graphene in its business and make sure their MSDS reflects the need for precautions.

I bet you are already turning blue over the use of the word weaponised now. So precious.

Asbestos, BTW wiggles its way through the lungs painlessly and accumulates at the outer surface between the lung and chest wall. Cancer occurs NOT BECAUSE OF CHEMICALS!!!!! but irritation caused by the rubbing of the lungs against the chest wall lining, called the Mesothelial Lining. So stop thinking of graphene as a chemical and take advice. Its mechanical action.
