He is probably trying to balance the thred... 1 up-ramp against 20 useless down-ramps.
I cant believe the devotion these down-rampers have for thred.
Your suggestion is a good idea, most likely would need to keep it away from HC though or the same useless lost souls will arrive and ruin it with their useless dribble...
