Hey Cobber . People keep mentioning " go to a vote , they won't win anyway " .
I don't think that's the case at all . In my view if it went to a clear " Should same sex people be allowed to get married ? " question I think it would get up .
Anyway , if Labor wins the next election it will become law . I can only assume that Labor will make it an election issue and therefore kind of force the coalition to adopt it as well .
So , I don't know why people are wasting time arguing about it now . It is incredibly likely that it will become law post the next election .
