I'm trying to establish a basic cost-benefit analysis to get a feel for how much could be afforded to spend per hectare (say) to increase the evap rates. This would be a good starting point (break-even at $x per hectare for various evap increase rates) to judge the viability of various solutions.
I have some ideas myself (mining tech background), and think there must be something in it if the cost can be kept down.
Sounds like a fair bit of savings from reducing say 100 hectares of ponds down to 50 hectares if the evap rates could be doubled...?
Any thoughts you have (or comments from the AGY team) on the benefits (to help feed my model) would be most appreciated.
I would love to provide a solution to speed up the $$$ inflow!
