Been doing some basic research on South African gas supplies .
-SA government want greater gas usage as coal is currently the dominant energy source (sounds familiar) . Coal is a major resource in SA .

-Currently only around 2% of SA energy is from gas .

-Gas pipelines are being built to import gas from neighbouring countries .
-Gas fired power stations are being built .
-South Africa is amongst the worlds top energy consumers .
