Quite agree. I reckon the "seller" of 500k @ $1 has probably been buying up more in the 90s and, when they've met their quota, will pull the sell order.
As for Mr Lauder's placement @ 85c, I don't really see many holders having a problem with that considering the sweetness of the deal for EMC. Speaking for myself, I certainly wouldn't begrudge him that even if they went to $2+ before the merger. It would be a bit dodgy if anyone associated with the merger was manipulating the market to keep the price down. They'd run the risk of prosecution not to mention jeopardizing the deal.
