Also forgot to mention that in this weekends FT there was a piece by Tyler Brule about a trip he recently took on one of Austrians fokker 70's ( which will now be part of our fleet or on the way) , he was very complimentary about the experience and how in Europe doing these short hops into a larger airport is the way forward, little does he realize that those small jets will vanish and there is now no real major new supply at reasonable price, also two orders by Iran and an Indian airline have taken all the supply of the ATR 72s out of the market for quite a period so there is going to be a bit of a shortage soon of planes that can do short hops with 30-100 passengers and also work in the dusty conditions of some of the smaller fifo mine/regional runways ....
