The figure of 1-2 billion units is a conservative estimate of 1st year sales.
Yes they can only produce 650 mill at St Marys but they can & will sell their technology & distribution rights to O/S companies for a royalty stream similar to their profit margin on locally produced items.
The WHO uses 6 bill syringes pa, & as of 2005 they plan to use safety syringes as do many US states.
If they can get 10 % of the 30-40 bill market the figures are incredible.
It all hinges on TGA & FDA approval which they assure me they are extremely confident of obtaining in the first or second Quarter of 2004.
I for one wont consider selling under $10.
