You are absolutely right that someone is going to great deal of trouble to control the price and I am 99.9% sure that it is FIL. I have tested and I have seen my own sell order getting executed in over 10 hours in the block of 1 share. You and me can't buy in block of 1 shares. They use this to control the closing price till 4 PM on any given day.

FIL knows that they have 60 odd million shares and they can afford to sell and push the price down as they have done it since the last announcement. They can seel at 31 c and buy it at 30c by creating this pressure. You can place big buy order for tomorrow at 30c or 30.5 and you will get it but they will make sure that SP is controlled at 29.5 and day after they will do the same when price needs to be pushed down.
