Very relevant it would seem, judging by the article in today's online version of ' The Australian ' (you will find it in the Technology section and it is titled Home control - writer is Chris Griffith, their tech guru.)
The article is mostly about Apple Homekit and the one thing that was stressed several times, is the security issue that Apple states is their advantage.
As I usually get acccused of being too optimistic I am reluctant to mention too much, or suggest it could be in the upcoming XPE update
So best that anyone interested do their own research (DYOR) and come to their own conclusions.
