Watching this price is fine but remember what you are watching. These are simple two point calculations. two things can make the 360 % go up. Current price going up or price 360 days ago going down. Prices mid may a year ago were about US $35.3 the high for last year. Then they slid pretty steadily till November where they hit low for year of $30.6. Since march they have been rising at the fastest rate. in over three years and this is very good news for Lynas. They peaked 2 weeks ago at US$ 44.50 about $1.00 less than the March 2015 high. They have been flat for over two weeks now. Between now and November the 360 % may go up even if prices are flat or down. This is a major problem with seeing gains and loses compared with past. without clear knowledge of past it is hard to interpret. Try metal pages graphs they have no numbers but are more informative. Since I dropped my metal pages subscription I am feeling a little loss. I update my prices about once a week by having people I know take a guest subscription in one of the services. real subscriptions are expensive and growing. Metal pages Went from $1000 yr . to over $2500yr while I was with them. What is needed is for somone to offer a bare bones service. Just weekly prices and a data base with maybe 5 years of monthly data that you can load into Excell to do your own studies. No tools, nothing. Yes all the tools these people offer are great but there should be something simple and cheap. Years ago Lynas posted all the prices on their web site, I think, updated twice a week. Maybe they should go back to this even if only updated once a week or once or twice a month. They could not give what they are selling for, just an accepted market number. If Prices hold at this level they should be profitable in H1 '18. Not sure if it will help much this year because of contract delays in seeing increased prices. The very sharp rise in April May prices should help us understand how long the contract delay is.
