You are at it again, by implying that the central accusations is that the SS are grossly disadvantage by by the inference of not having the right to have a union celebration. Demanding that only word that will satisfy the SS is the use of the word marriage.
This group has 99.9% rights of three heterosexual groups: church marriage, celebrants weddings and defectos.
Finally you must admit, that the only issue that the plebiscite will address is the right to use certain words, historical associated with heterosexuals.

My analogy that the plebiscite will be akin to a case of copyright infringement, is vindicated!
The plebiscite should clearly state that the SS society have 99.9% the same rights as the rest of the community.
It should be worded along the following lines, "that certain groups of the community will be offended if the words(marriage, married, wedding etc) associated with heterosexual wedding be adopted for same sex union".
"Consideration should be taken into account that their their sexuality activities is not the norm in the majority of our community". That an alternative word would suffice that would represent their union.
Anyhow, I believe that Alan Joyce is a hypocrite, because he condones discriminative practices to a minority group of employee's within Qantas and its subsidiary companies. Yet whinges about an issues that most Australians considered unimportant.
