Todays announcement looks more and more like confirming PTR is truly commercialisation focussed. These guys are for real imo, and seeking the right sort of real world assistance, rather than getting bogged down with academics and research experience people, as perhaps others are.
Todays announcement appeared a direct challenge to GDY for leadership position. I guess the prize for first commercial application will be enourmous. The trouble for GDY is that even if their first project is technically successful, it will not be commercial - as it is too far from the grid or power users.
Looks to me that if PTR is to succeed at all, then it will probably also be first.
