I must be dense. If it piggybacks VoIP style, then wont Telstra's data charges apply across their network to the end customer?
That means that EFT must also put a charge on it as well to make money - so it will be more expensive than pure data ex Telstra.
What am I missing in all this hype?
What you are relying on is a wholesale piggyback on the NextG network - see my first note - why would TLS contermplate this when they are fighting tooth and nail on every other front.
I would be happy to see this work, but, from my experience (and its substantial in telco), I cant see what the excitement is about based on the brief details offerred.
Lets hope it is something other than reliant on Telstra's good graces for network access, else, its a non starter at the gate.
