Chinese are currently asking US$2,883/mt for 50% concentrate with a treatment charge of US$260-$270/mt(This via a Chinese metals website).Seems a tad high but with current concentrate demand???
This is using a conversion of US$1 = 0.131 Yuan(Renminbi)
IF Aim produces 140,000t and we apply these numbers.
Assuming the offtakers give same,we get
PER YEAR US$362M(concentrate US$2883/mt - TC $270/mt) excluding mining/transport costs.
The last number we had re operating CF was US$130M/Y.
If we allow US$20M for transport then we have a margin of
US$212M
Hmmmmmm.
Very rough and lots of assumptions BUT this being based on a current concentrate price and TC price.
Are we getting closer MF???
