Hi,

This is a big mining area so there is a lot of drilling rigs and exploration contractors available. If you look on the map, you can see that Newcrest have another JV with Laneway Resources (LNY) although their JV terms aren't quite as good at NTL's (for instance, NTL has a 2% NSR versus LNY's 1% NSR).

NTL, in my view, also has the Rahu exploration permit that actually has gold in it



From the latest LNY activities report, they have carried out:

Collection of over 1500 surface geochemical samples,
Extensive geological mapping along with geochemical sampling as required
Completion of two geophysical programs for over 31 line km of IP
Drilling of 13 diamond holes for over 5000m [picture below]



So there's no shortage of resources available to Newcrest. They have done a flyover with the magnetic sensors over Rahu, they have drilling targets at Rahu.

Interestingly, they haven't found anything at LNY yet. I think they will find it at Rahu, after talking with the NTL geologist at last year's AGM, anyway
