Ahh the old hydrogen raises its head again.

With the refueling calculation, I always find it interesting that the time taken to find a Hydrogen Station isn't taken into account...

And that is the issue, the infrastructure for the fuel delivery for EVs already exists: all the poles and wires.

The infrastructure for H cars doesn't, and the cost of rolling that out needs to be accounted for.

As for charging times, new battery chemistries are being developed all the time, including a new one announced 2 weeks ago that
    * reduces the 80% charge time from 30 minutes to 6 minutes
    * replaces the graphite anode with a lithium titanate alloy (yay, more lithium in better batteries)
    * testing has shown longer life in charge-deplete-recharge cycling tests
    * virtual elimination of runaway thermal risk

Yes hydrogen is interesting, but it has to beat the lithium development and cost curves, and for as long as its infrastructure needs to be paid for, it is going to have a hard time doing that.
