Nice to see some consistent buying at the 13c level over the past couple of weeks, and good volumes today.
With PFG trading at a P/E multiple of 5-6x, if Mr Market gets convinced that PFG's organic revs and M&A strategy can generate growth (and I suspect thee full year result will help with that view), this share price could triple based on multiple expansion alone. Many of the group's peers trade well into the mid teens (and even higher, see EAS and others). Now while there are no guarantees, for those of you who held this stock when it was >$1, Mr Market would quickly come to love this stock with some good underlying earnings growth. If you've taken only a quick look at the earnings of PFG over the past 10 years, please note that several years were significantly boosted by non cash gains on new FP agreements (largely an accounting fiction in my view) - however, true cash earnings have only recently started to grow, and this is what really drives price. Should be an interesting 6-12 months coming up for PFG.
