Share issues have to be at a bigger discount to enterprise value. Long standing shareholders get diluted more than they should if the
SP were not manipulated. Lower market cap = harder to borrow and higher interest rates. Undervalued companies get taken over for less than their value. Some shareholders don't have the luxury to hold forever. Its supposedly illegal. Need I go on?
