This may be completely off base, but this is all rather interesting. I would have thought, that ACM made millions out of one job ? This still seems a rather small amount for Brian, and yes, he pumped 10 or more million into IDC shares that are now, as we all know, worthless. So, it begs the question, is Mount Kare the mountain that broke Brian's back ? If he was walking away with 250 million, I could see that, but as it's only (only is subjective) 25 million, 2.5 in cash and the rest in shares, (that may or may not be worth more or less at some time in the future), it just seems strange. So, yeah, either he saw that Mining Contracting is over, or, he needed the dosh, or, as it has been suggested, it is yet another chapter in the company destroying Mount Kare ? Plus, I seem to recall that Peter Cook (not the other half of Dudley Moore), used to have something happening with KDC, the local alluvial guys, but that is ancient history, so yeah, maybe Peter want's another crack at the mountain. Whatever the story is, it would make a good Peter and Dudley skit.
