Xolobeni is a great resource and if MRC were to get
formal government approval to develop it I have little doubt that the stock would hit $2.30. I've bought stock so I'm betting MRC will get approval.
MRC has said that it intends to submit a mining application as soon as possible after the new South African Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act and Mineral and Petroleum Development Regulations 2002 are proclaimed.
The company has said it expects that the Act and Regulations will be proclaimed in the near future.
Anyone got any educated ideas as to how long the 'near future' might be and how long it might take the SA government to review MRC's mining application before granting a formal approval to develop?
