MG supplier in WCB country. Dairy farms cheek by jowl for my 20 minute drive to Allansford. Now only 1 MG sign to drive by. WCB FON BGA signs. UDC will replace some of the Fonterra signs. I expect they will ann opening price this week. I hear first years production is pre sold. They had indicated they would pay 25c/kg ms more than the average of the big 3. More recently I heard that MG price would not be used in calculation. My best guess is $5.60 opening.
McKenna could just about build a pipeline from his farms to the Koroit factory. Koroit would also be a nice tuck in factory for Saputo or BGA.
I can't see MG surviving this milk price war as is. The board meet again next week and I hope they match the opening prices and protect themselves with quarterly pricing.
I just can't see the mighty phoenix scenario playing out this time.
