The FAR picture of the Petrosen DG in the geological archives with the ancient scrolls was an eye-opener as to the state of affairs. How long have we been waiting for a Govt statement on the issue of approval of the COP transaction or even a status update as to when they might clarify the government position/approval/timeframe.
They might get around to it after they decide if Djiffere licence is extended......no rush.
No oil minister currently. I hold no hope for rapid decision given the elections underway. I fear the Senegal government is less productive than my local shire road workers. Oil code anyone? When is the post-Arete party? Senegal government wants rapid development, they better start setting an example of transparency, efficiency and productivity with respect to how they do business IMO.
